This box has straightforward lines and a midcentury vibe, along with an early label.... "Flash Filing, Fresno, Calif." It has a small slide button latch with a locking mechanism with the key.
Overall, a splendid retro box...very useful for documents and papers.

This file box is in magnificent vintage condition and shows its age with evidence of use and wear. There are minor scuffs and scratches. There is a dent in the bottom and a few small paint chips. I did mention it has the key.12.5" x 10.5" x10".
