That's the best thing ever.This thing got through Hurricane Sandy, kept me sane but more importantly kept me safe. I've taken decent care of it because of that but it's definitely noticeably used. Still works great however...Like any other handheld radio-The battery tires out semi quick (probably about 40 hours continuous but if used only intermittently it'll be closer to a 100 or so, not that bad), the volume seems to be either just barely on or Blasting. The dial for the stations takes a solid amount of patience and you need to hold it like a walkie-talkie ; one finger on the antenna so as to boost the signal : D superb for everyday use. supreme materials and excellent craftsmanship ensure long-lasting durability.
